every time i use "save as" to download a file, edge linux crashes

microsoft edge stable 142 ubuntu 24.04 every time i use "save as" to download a file, edge linux crashes but "save" works i think this happened since i did "sudo apt autoremove" operation

When I open the first browser in Edge after I open my desktop it just sits there buffering and never opens. I have to select a second tab and open another browser which immediately opens and I can use my computer. Why is it doing this?

edge running in Linux closes when downloading a file

Hello, Running Edge Version 142.0.3595.80 (Official build) (64-bit) on Linux. anytime I download a file , it fails and browser closes forcing me to use other browsers as a work around. Is this a known issue, or is it settings related? Thanks Jay
