sidebar disappeared

I've been using Edge for a while on my macOS Catalina, and a few days ago I noticed that my sidebar (where there were apps) disappeared out of nowhere.

Why did this happen? Does anyone know how I can bring my sidebar back?

I didn't want to go back to Safaria, because I liked Edge so much.

    I understand that your Edge sidebar is gone;

    Initially I recommend that you try the following;

    Open Edge and go to Settings;

    Click on Sidebar and enable the option "Always show sidebar";

    Your sidebar should now appear again;
