Hello,

I tried to verify my Azure for Students account using my school email, but I did not complete the email confirmation.

Now my email is marked as already used, but I do not have any active subscription in my account.

Please help me reset the verification so I can complete the process.

My student email: [PII Info]

Thank you.

    Hello HIEU NGUYEN

I see exactly what happened: you started the verification with your school email but the confirmation step wasn’t completed. That’s why the system now shows the email as “already used” with no active subscription. This is super common and 100% fixable in under 5 minutes.

Here’s the proven fix that works for almost every student in your situation:

    1. Open an Incognito / InPrivate browser window right now.
    2. Go straight to this official Microsoft verification link: https://signup.azure.com/studentverification?offerType=1
    3. Sign in with your mail id.
    4. Select School email address verification → complete the quick phone step → accept the agreement.

You’ll get the success screen, and your $100 credit + free services will appear immediately in the Azure portal.

    Thanks,
    Manish.

I think azure locks that half‑done student check in the acct‑graph, so u can’t reset it urself…pls ask support to clear the pending flag n retry clean; if it still fails, have them rebind the mail on their side.

Azure for Students academic verification and subscription activation issues cannot be reset or fixed directly from the documentation in the provided context.

The only supported next steps based on similar account and verification issues are:

    1. Try the sign-up/verification flow again in a clean browser session
      • Open a private/incognito window in the browser.
      • Clear all browser data (cookies, cache) for Microsoft/Azure sites if possible.
      • Go to the Azure for Students sign-up page and attempt the verification again using the same school email.
      • If there is any option like “verify in a different way” or to resend the verification email, use that and ensure all information is entered accurately before submitting, similar to the workaround described for academic verification issues.
    2. Check the school email for any previous verification or activation messages
      • Look in Inbox and Junk/Spam folders for messages from Microsoft or Azure related to academic or student verification.
      • If a verification link is present and not expired, complete that flow.
    3. If the email remains “already used” and no subscription appears, contact Microsoft support
      • This situation is analogous to other account/subscription problems in which an internal flag or partial setup blocks completion and must be resolved by the Azure/Microsoft account or review team.
      • Use the official Microsoft Support contact channels for Azure/account issues and open a support request describing that:
        • The school email was used for Azure for Students verification.
        • The email is now reported as already used.
        • No Azure for Students (or any) subscription is visible under Subscriptions in the Azure portal.
      • Provide the school email address only to support through official forms, not in public forums.
    4. If support indicates the original attempt is stuck or blocked, follow their instructions
      • In similar cases with blocked tenants or subscriptions, the resolution required Microsoft to clear the block or complete the subscription creation on the backend before the user could proceed.

If the issue persists after these steps, only Microsoft Support or the Azure account/review team can reset or release the academic verification and allow a new Azure for Students sign-up with the same school email.
