Definitie

Hiermee wordt een waarde opgehaald die aangeeft of de huidige Type een algemene typedefinitie vertegenwoordigt, waaruit andere algemene typen kunnen worden samengesteld.

Opmerkingen

Een algemene typedefinitie is een sjabloon waaruit andere typen kunnen worden samengesteld. U kunt bijvoorbeeld vanuit de algemene C#-typedefinitie G<T> het type maken en instantiëren G<int> (G(Of Integer) in Visual Basic), door de methode MakeGenericType aan te roepen met een algemene lijst met argumenten met het type Int32. Op basis van een Type object dat dit samengestelde type vertegenwoordigt, wordt de algemene typedefinitie opnieuw opgehaald door de GetGenericTypeDefinition methode.

Gebruik de IsGenericTypeDefinition eigenschap om te bepalen of u nieuwe typen kunt maken op basis van het huidige type. Als de IsGenericTypeDefinition eigenschap wordt geretourneerd true, kunt u de MakeGenericType methode aanroepen om nieuwe algemene typen te maken.
