CAS(코드 액세스 보안)는 모든 버전의 .NET Framework 및 .NET에서 더 이상 사용되지 않습니다. 최신 버전의 .NET은 CAS 주석을 준수하지 않으며 CAS 관련 API를 사용하는 경우 오류가 발생합니다. 개발자는 보안 작업을 수행하는 다른 방법을 찾아야 합니다.

사이트 ID는 HTTP, HTTPS 및 FTP 프로토콜을 사용하는 URL의 코드에 대해서만 정의됩니다. 사이트는 URL에서 프로토콜 다음에 오는 "//"와 ("있으면" 다음의) "/" 사이에 위치한 문자열을 뜻합니다. 예를 들어, URL의 www.fourthcoffee.comhttp://www.fourthcoffee.com/process/grind.htm에 해당합니다. 포트 번호는 제외됩니다. 지정된 URL이 http://www.fourthcoffee.com:8000/이면 사이트는 www.fourthcoffee.com이고, www.fourthcoffee.com:8000가 아닙니다.

사이트는 정확히 일치하거나 점 구분 기호의 와일드카드("*") 접두사로 일치시킬 수 있습니다. 예를 들어 사이트 이름 문자열 *.fourthcoffee.com 도 일치 fourthcoffee.comwww.fourthcoffee.com합니다. 와일드카드가 없으면 사이트 이름이 정확히 일치해야 합니다. 사이트 이름 문자열 *은(는) 모든 사이트와 일치하지만 사이트 증거가 없는 코드와 일치하지 않습니다.

.NET Framework 4부터 ID 권한은 사용되지 않습니다.

.NET Framework 버전 1.0 및 1.1에서는 호출 어셈블리가 완전히 신뢰할 수 있는 경우에도 ID 권한에 대한 요구가 적용됩니다. 즉, 호출 어셈블리에 완전 신뢰가 있지만 어셈블리가 요청된 조건을 충족하지 않으면 ID 권한에 대한 요청이 실패합니다. .NET Framework 버전 2.0에서는 호출 어셈블리에 완전 신뢰가 있는 경우 ID 권한에 대한 요구가 효과적이지 않습니다. 이렇게 하면 모든 사용 권한에 대한 일관성이 보장되며, 특별한 경우로 ID 권한의 처리가 제거됩니다.

허용되는 선언의 범위는 사용되는 선언에 SecurityAction 따라 달라집니다.

보안 특성에 의해 선언된 보안 정보는 특성 대상의 메타데이터에 저장되며 런타임에 시스템에서 액세스합니다. 보안 특성은 선언적 보안에만 사용됩니다. 명령적 보안의 경우 해당 권한 클래스를 사용합니다.
