true se l'oggetto corrente Type si trova nella gerarchia di ereditarietà dell'oggetto rappresentato da oo se l'oggetto corrente Type è un'interfaccia che o implementa.
false se nessuna di queste condizioni è il caso, se o è nullo se l'oggetto corrente Type è un tipo generico aperto , ContainsGenericParameters ovvero restituisce true.

Un tipo costruito non è un'istanza della relativa definizione di tipo generico. Ovvero, MyGenericList<int> (MyGenericList(Of Integer) in Visual Basic) non è un'istanza di MyGenericList<T> (MyGenericList(Of T) in Visual Basic).
