Bluetooth Audio Not Working in Microsoft Teams (Work Profile – Android)

Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I would like to report an issue I am experiencing with Microsoft Teams on my Android device.

When using Teams under the Work Profile, Bluetooth audio devices (TWS/earbuds) fail to connect during calls or meetings. However, the same Bluetooth device works perfectly in my personal profile and with other applications, including Teams outside the Work Profile.

This issue appears to be specific to the Work Profile environment and is significantly impacting my ability to attend meetings effectively, as I am unable to use my preferred audio device.

I have already attempted several troubleshooting steps, including:

  • Reconnecting the Bluetooth device
  • Resetting the earbuds
  • Verifying app permissions
  • Reinstalling Microsoft Teams

Unfortunately, the issue still persists.

Given that this behavior affects professional communication, I request you to kindly investigate this issue and provide a resolution or guidance. If any additional logs or information are required, I would be happy to assist.

    To ensure I understand your request correctly and to support you as effectively as possible, I need more specific information from you:

    • Have you try to use other Bluetooth audio devices for this work profile?
    • Have this issue happened before?
    • Could you please confirm whether the Bluetooth feature is still available in your work profile?

    Based on your description, this issue may due to Intune/Android Enterprise policy restrictions that apply only to the Work container. Device restriction settings for Windows devices in Microsoft Intune - Microsoft Intune | Microsoft Learn

    Because this happens only in the Work Profile, it is important to rule out policy:

    • Ask IT to review Android Enterprise device restrictions / app restrictions that might limit Bluetooth audio routing for work apps, or apply different behavior inside the work container. (There are multiple reports tied to Intune Work Profile scenarios.)
