Partially Successful Phone Link -iOS

I have an iPhone and seem to be partially connected to the "link to windows" feature. My notifications all send to my computer, my texts all come through and I can open them, but when it comes to sending files and photos from either device to each other I hit a roadblock.

Each time I try to send files I am prompted with the QR code to connect, I go through the log in process as it prompts, I successfully log in, and then am met with a "there was an error connecting your devices" message. If I try again, the cycle simply repeats.

I did see somewhere through my scouring of support pages that iOS devices are not currently supported. What's throwing me off especially now is that it seems to be at least partially supported? If nothing was connecting it would make more sense, and with my notifications and texts seemingly operational I am confused about the whole thing.

Anyone have any wisdom or ideas to share?

    Hello,

Please refer to the following support article for the list of features available with the Phone Link app on Android and iPhone.

Even on Android, only supported devices can use the full set of Phone Link features.
Seamlessly transfer content between your devices

The features available on the iPhone version are currently more limited compared to the Android version.

When you mention that “there is an issue when sending files or photos between devices,” do you mean that an error appears when attempting to transfer a file from your iPhone using the Share feature?

At this time, I was not able to find an official support article for this feature, although I do remember seeing one in the past. Based on this behavior, it is highly likely that the feature is currently experimental. I have previously seen a report where this function used to work on an iPhone but later stopped working, and the support documentation confirmed that it was not an officially supported feature.

For this reason, the feature may work in some environments and fail in others, and it should be considered unsupported at this stage.
