You actually won’t get a license key with a Microsoft 365 subscription.

It works differently. It’s tied to your Microsoft account, not a product key.

Try this:

• Go to account.microsoft.com/services
• Sign in with the account you used to buy the subscription
• Check if your Microsoft 365 subscription is active

For Outlook Classic:

• If you haven’t already, please try installing Outlook Classic by downloading it here: https://support.microsoft.com/office/install-or-reinstall-classic-outlook-on-a-windows-pc-5c94902b-31a5-4274-abb0-b07f4661edf5
• Adjust the language if needed, then click "Download" to get the link.

I need the license key in order to down open outlook classic. I need Outlook classic for my emails.

For a Microsoft 365 monthly subscription, a traditional license/product key is normally not used. The Microsoft account is what activates and manages the subscription.

To check or manage the subscription:

1. Go to the Microsoft account, Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services
2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account used to buy the Microsoft 365 subscription.
3. The active Microsoft 365 subscription appears there and can be used to reinstall and activate Office.

When Office prompts for activation, sign in with this Microsoft account instead of entering a product key. For Microsoft 365 subscriptions, the full product key is not shown in Office or online for security reasons.

If a physical product key card was purchased to start or renew the subscription and Office specifically prompts for a key, it can be entered at https://www.microsoft365.com/setup or directly in Office when requested.

License keys cannot be sent by email from here. For account- or subscription-specific help (including if the subscription status looks wrong), contact Microsoft Support via the official support channels.
