Update the minimum TLS version of your Azure Storage account to 1.2 or later To update the minimum TLS version of your Azure Storage account to 1.2 or later, just follow these steps:

1. Go to the Azure Portal and open your Storage Account.
2. On the left menu, under Settings, click Configuration.
3. Scroll down to Minimum TLS version and change it from the drop-down to TLS 1.2.
4. Hit Save at the top.

That’s it. Just keep in mind that any old apps or scripts still using TLS 1.0 or 1.1 will stop working once you make this change, so make sure everything connecting to the storage account is up to date first.

Azure CLI:

Here’s the CLI command to update your storage account’s minimum TLS version to 1.2:

az storage account update \
  --name <your-storage-account-name> \
  --resource-group <your-resource-group-name> \
  --min-tls-version TLS1_2

Just replace <your-storage-account-name> and <your-resource-group-name> with your actual values. After you run it, you can verify the change with:

az storage account show \
  --name <your-storage-account-name> \
  --resource-group <your-resource-group-name> \
  --query minimumTlsVersion \
  --output tsv

It should return TLS1_2. Keep in mind that any old clients still using TLS 1.0 or 1.1 will stop working once this is enforced.
