Hello, i’ve tried everywhere to fix this issue, my resolution is set very low, i have amd parts and i cant update my drivers, it made the resolution smaller, i couldn’t update my pc for some reason so i put my display scaling to 500% (i know not smart). It made everything way to large to do anything, i have a prebuilt STGABRUAN, everything is so big i cant see more then the tabs to close minimize and fullscreen when i open settings or any other app (if i can), the prebuilt has a strange version of windows or something that makes it when im in recovery mode, i cant factory reset, i have a flash drive that i have the windows installer on. But i cant use the flash drive because i cant open the software for it. What do i do, i have to fix this without being able to see, who do i factory reset from the settings, i can log in and use win + I to open windows and i can use tab for ui navigation. anyone know how i can fix this or try and use my lexar flash drive without opening its software to use the windows installer?

Try booting your PC into Safe Mode, the graphics card does not load in Safe Mode, and you should be able to reset the resolution and Scale percentage in Safe Mode.

tart your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

    Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt... etc.

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Settings and click Restart

Upon restart, press 5 to enter Safe Mode.

Use keyboard shortcuts to reduce the oversized scaling so the screen becomes usable again; a factory reset or USB installer is not required for this issue.

Follow these steps using only the keyboard in Windows 11:

    1. Open Settings
      • Press Win + I to open Settings.
    2. Go to Display settings
      • Press Tab repeatedly until the left navigation pane is focused (you should see focus moving on the left side, even if most of the window is off-screen).
      • Use the Up/Down Arrow keys to move to System.
      • Press Enter.
      • Press Tab to move focus into the right pane.
      • Use Tab and Arrow keys until Display is selected, then press Enter.
    3. Change Scale (make everything smaller)
      • In Display settings, the Scale control is in the Scale & layout section.
      • Press Tab repeatedly to move through controls until focus lands on the Scale drop-down (it may show something like 500%).
      • Press Alt + Down Arrow to open the drop-down list.
      • Use Arrow keys to select the value marked (Recommended) (commonly 100%, 125%, or similar).
      • Press Enter to apply.
    4. If the screen does not immediately resize
      • Wait a few seconds; Windows may briefly flicker and then redraw at the new scale.
      • If prompted to keep the new setting, press Tab to highlight Keep changes, then press Enter.

If still too large to navigate, also reset text size from Accessibility:

    1. Open Accessibility text size
      • Press Win + I.
      • Use Tab to move to the left pane, then Arrow keys to select Accessibility and press Enter.
      • Press Tab to move into the right pane, then use Tab/Arrow keys to select Text size and press Enter.
    2. Reduce text size
      • Press Tab until the Text size slider is focused.
      • Use the Left Arrow key to move the slider back toward the default (smaller) size.
      • Press Tab to move to Apply, then press Enter.

These steps use only keyboard navigation and built-in Windows settings, so no external software or factory reset is needed.
