    Hi Gerry Jackson

From your post, I understand how frustrating it is when Outlook locks up just by clicking “Signature”, especially since it blocks normal email use.

Please try to remove pre-installed Office Desktop Apps:

    1. Close Outlook completely
    2. Right‑click Start > open “Settings”
    3. Go to “Apps” > “Apps & features”
    4. Look for “Microsoft Office Desktop Apps”
    5. Select it > click Uninstall
    6. Restart your PC
    7. Open Outlook again and test “Signature”

If Outlook still freezes after that step, it would help to know:

    • Are you fully updated to a recent Outlook / Microsoft 365 build?
    • Does Outlook freeze immediately, or only become unresponsive for a while?
    • Does the same issue happen if you start Outlook in Safe Mode?

Please feel free to let me know how it goes. I truly appreciate your time and understanding.
