    Hi char

I understand you’re seeing a repeated sign‑in pop‑up on your phone even though you’re already signed in, and after following the prompt your mail has stopped arriving and the pop‑up won’t go away. Are you using the Outlook mobile app, or the built‑in iPhone/Android Mail app? Please let me know when you have time.

    Have a lovely day!

The pop-up is likely a sign-in or verification prompt that is stuck or repeatedly triggered. Use these steps to clear it and restore mail flow:

    1. Deny any sign-in prompts not explicitly requested
      • If the pop-up is an “Are you trying to sign in?” style prompt that you did not initiate, always choose Deny. This keeps the account secure and prevents unwanted sign-ins.
    2. Turn off Outlook mobile sign-in requests (if using Outlook mobile to approve sign-ins)
      • In the Outlook mobile app:
        1. Go to Settings.
        2. Select Accounts, then choose the affected account.
        3. Select Account > Sign-in requests.
        4. Turn off the toggle for Allow sign-in requests.
      • This stops Outlook from sending/receiving sign-in approval prompts that may be blocking normal use.
    3. Re-add Outlook mobile as a sign-in method only if needed
      • If Outlook was removed or misconfigured as a sign-in method and you want to use it again:
        1. Go to Settings in Outlook mobile.
        2. Accounts > select the account.
        3. Account > Sign-in requests.
        4. Turn on Allow sign-in requests.
    4. Check for unrequested prompts or suspicious activity
      • If the pop-up appears when no sign-in was started, it may be due to someone entering the email/phone by mistake or attempting access.
      • Do not approve any prompts you did not start.
      • Review account activity at the recent activity page and, if anything looks unfamiliar, choose Secure your account.
    5. If mail is still not arriving
      • After disabling sign-in requests and dismissing/denying the prompt, close and reopen Outlook.
      • If using Outlook on the web, sign out and sign back in.
      • If the issue persists, use the Outlook.com in-product Help option or the Outlook.com support link from the context to contact support while signed in.
