I keep being asked for an email address but when I type it in, I get told it's registered to another account. Is there a phone number I can speak to, to get this resolved

    I understand you’re repeatedly being asked for an email address, but when you enter it you’re told it’s registered to another account, and you also want the guided alias/account tool and a way to speak with support. Are you seeing “registered to another account” while trying to add this email as an alias, or while trying to sign in with it? 

    This usually indicates the email address you’re trying to use is already an alias/sign-in name on a different Microsoft account, and Microsoft does not allow the same alias to be attached to two accounts. See: Add or remove an email alias in Outlook.com - Microsoft Support 

    When you can’t sign in or need help managing aliases. Use Change the email address or phone number for your Microsoft account - Microsoft Support 

    If you still need to reach Microsoft Support (only chat support vailable for personal account)
