    Hi R V,

I understand how confusing it can be when you see devices linked to your Microsoft account and want to remove ones you no longer use.

Before proceeding, I need to quickly narrow this down:

    • Are you signed in to Windows 11 with a personal Microsoft account (for example, Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live)?
    • Or is this device signed in with a work or school account (Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD)?

If you are using a personal Microsoft account, you can remove a Windows 11 device directly from your Microsoft account online:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account’s Devices page: https://account.microsoft.com/devices
    2. Locate the device you want to remove.
    3. Select “Remove device” (you may need to expand the device to see this).
    4. Check “I’m ready to remove this device”, then select “Remove” to confirm.
