I understand how confusing it can be when you see devices linked to your Microsoft account and want to remove ones you no longer use.

Before proceeding, I need to quickly narrow this down:

Are you signed in to Windows 11 with a personal Microsoft account (for example, Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live)?
Or is this device signed in with a work or school account (Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD)?

If you are using a personal Microsoft account, you can remove a Windows 11 device directly from your Microsoft account online:

Sign in to your Microsoft account’s Devices page: https://account.microsoft.com/devices
Locate the device you want to remove.
Select “Remove device” (you may need to expand the device to see this).
Check “I’m ready to remove this device”, then select “Remove” to confirm.

I was on the Microsoft chat earlier & I was advised to use the sign out of all my linked devices all at once security feature. I was advised it may take 24 hours to be processed. We see if this fixes my problem.

The solution provided by the Microsoft Chat didn’t fix my problem. What I’m currently seeing in my account is (1) linked device (windows laptop) which is correct. However, there’s another new PC that should be linked & should be listed in my account as well. Additionally, there’s another PC that I no longer own & is showing up in my new PC account under its Start Menu.

Thanks for the detailed update. I understand your concern.

At this stage, you’ll need to re‑contact Microsoft Support and reference this as a device association issue, so they can review it at the account level. Thanks for your understanding.
