I have used the same Outlook folder for several years. It has recently disappeared from the Outlook page; however, I can still save active emails to the folder. But then I cannot find the folder to retrieve the messages. Any thoughts?

    Hello FRANK DIEKMAN,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

To make sure the right steps are provided (your screenshot looks like Outlook on the web / Outlook.com), could you please confirm:

    • Which Outlook are you using when you see the missing folder — Classic Outlook (Windows desktop app) or Outlook on the web (outlook.com)?
    • Is the affected account a personal account (Outlook.com/Hotmail) or a work/school account (Microsoft 365/Exchange)?
    • Do you see the folder in the other place as well (e.g., if it’s missing in Classic Outlook, does it show on the web, and vice versa)?

If you are using Outlook on the web, the left folder pane can sometimes fail to load due to browser cache/session.

    • In that case, please try: sign out > clear browser cache > close all browser tabs/windows > sign in again at www.outlook.com.

Once you share those details, I can tailor the exact steps for your setup.
