Cannot Login in Windows

Hi all,

I really need your urgent help.

I think the problem is that by coincidence i executed the command dsregcmd /leave.
Now i'm not able to login anymore in my windows account.
I assume this is caused by my device removed from entra.

Any suggestions how i can fix this so i can login in windows again ?

Hi Steve Desmedt,

Running dsregcmd /leave removes the device from Entra ID, so if your sign-in depends on that, it can block access.

You can try the following:

If you have a local admin account, sign in with that and reconnect the device from Settings > Accounts > Access work or school, then add your work account again.

If not, try logging in with cached credentials by disconnecting from the internet and signing in.

You can also try Safe Mode to see if any other admin account is available.

Once you’re back in, run dsregcmd /status to check the join status.

If none of this works, you’ll likely need your IT admin to rejoin or re-register the device.
