Custom Query column options "Found in Build" does not display values in results

I have created a new query and included the column "Found in Build" The Bugs contain those values in that field, but no values are displayed in the queries results. How do you get thise values to display in a column?

The answer did not address the question. The Column Option "Found in Build" is not displaying any values in the query results. I do not want a query based on the "found in build".

In Azure DevOps, the “Found in Build” field is stored as a normal work item field, but it will only appear in query results if the field is actually populated on the work items returned by the query.

If you can see values on the Bug work item form but the column shows blank in the query, check the following:

Verify the query returns only Bugs The Found in Build field is typically used on Bug work items. If the query includes multiple work item types, the column may appear empty for items that do not use that field.

Re-add the column in the query Sometimes the column configuration needs to be refreshed.

Edit the query

Go to Column Options

Remove Found in Build

Add it again

Save and run the query

Confirm the field being used is the same Open one of the Bugs and verify the value is populated in the Found in Build field on the form. If your organization uses a customized process, ensure it is the standard field and not a similarly named custom field.

Check query type Use a Flat list of work items query. Some fields do not render consistently in hierarchical queries.

As a quick test, try creating a simple query such as:

Work Item Type = Bug

Found in Build <> Empty

Then add Found in Build as a column and run the query. If the field is populated on the work items, it should display in the results.
