Hi Austin Selfridge,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
In your screenshot, the sign-in page shows “We couldn’t find an account with that username.” This means the email/username you entered doesn’t match what Microsoft currently recognizes as a valid sign-in ID for that account (for example: typo/wrong domain, or the sign-in alias may have been changed/removed).
Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas only.
1. Check whether the account was previously linked to a phone number
Was a phone number ever added to this Microsoft account for verification/recovery? (In some cases, if the account was compromised, the attacker may not have removed all security info yet.)
- If yes, please use “Forgotten your Microsoft account username” and try looking it up with your phone number (or a recovery email).
- If the account is found and you can identify the correct sign‑in email/username, then proceed with the Microsoft account recovery form (ACSR) to recover access.
2. If you can identify the correct sign-in email/username (or a new sign-in ID)
- Once you have the correct sign-in ID, follow the official Microsoft account recovery form (ACSR) flow and provide as much accurate information as possible to prove ownership.
If this continues, please contact Microsoft Support via live chat:
- Go to Contact Us: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus
- Click “Show expanded list of products”
- Select Outlook > Get Home support
- Type “Outlook live chat” in the search box, select Get Help, then Contact Support
- If you can’t sign in to the compromised account, sign in with a different Microsoft account to access support options
- Under Products & Services, select Other Products > Outlook, then choose Chat with a support agent via web browser
Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.
