    Hi Peter Bojanczyk

For Azure Cosmos DB accounts using legacy Periodic backup, restore is not self‑service and must be performed through Azure Support.

The database account has already been successfully restored. Please validate whether the required data is available in the restored account.

After validating or migrating the data, please delete the restored account to avoid additional charges.

To avoid this in the future, consider either:

->Increasing the periodic backup retention, or
->Continuous backup mode for restore capability.

Hope this helps, Please let us know if you have any questions and concerns.
