I created an application using a macOS pkg file in Intune, and this is the first time I'm installing it. Intune shows the application as installed on the device in both device and user install statuses, but the application is not actually present on the macOS device.

    Hello Muhammad Moin Khan,

You can start by checking the following:

    1. Verify whether the installation was triggered - Review the macOS installer logs on the device to confirm whether the PKG install actually ran. Intune marks a macOS PKG app as Installed when the installer process completes successfully, even if no visible app is deployed.
    2. Review detection rules - Incorrect or overly broad detection logic can cause Intune to report an app as installed even when it isn’t present on the device.

The following articles provide guidance for deploying and troubleshooting macOS app deployment :

    Hope this helps!
