Wrong Microsoft account for one drive

Hi! You should be able to sign out and add another account. Have you tried clicking on your account's profile icon within OneDrive and clicking Sign Out?

On some devices, you may need to go to Android Settings > Accounts or Additional Settings > Accounts & sync > Look for Microsoft or similar > Remove the account.

To use the correct OneDrive account on the Samsung Galaxy S26, the existing account in the OneDrive app must be signed out, then the desired account added and selected.

Follow these steps in the OneDrive Android app:

1. Open the OneDrive app.
2. Tap the profile picture or icon in the top corner.
3. Tap Sign out to remove the currently signed‑in OneDrive account.
4. After sign‑out, on the sign‑in screen, enter the email address and password for the OneDrive account that has the files that need to be accessed.

If multiple accounts are needed (for example, one personal and one work/school):

1. Open the OneDrive app.
2. Tap the profile picture or icon.
3. Tap Add account.
4. Sign in with the additional account’s credentials.
5. To switch between accounts, tap the profile picture or icon again and select the desired account from the list.

Notes from the app behavior:

• Only one personal OneDrive account can be used in the app, but multiple work or school accounts are allowed.
• Clearing cache does not change which account is signed in; signing out is required to switch accounts.
