How can I stop the "open split screen" message each time I file an email in yahoo mail?

Using Yahoo Mail, I file all of my business emails for possible referral should it be needed. Of late each time I do this and drag the relevant email to the left of the screen where the archive files are located, a window opens up even further to the left with the message "open in split screen". I would like to stop this from happening. I have already turned off snap windows. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in anticipation.

    Hello,

Have you checked if Edge’s drag-and-drop or Yahoo layout is triggering it?

    • Snap Windows off is correct.

    • In Edge, go to Settings > Appearance, turn off “Enable drag and drop to snap windows.”

    • In Yahoo Mail, switch to standard view under Settings > Viewing email.

    • Avoid dragging emails to the screen edge to prevent Snap Layouts from opening.

Let me know if that works. Thanks, and take care!

I had the same problem, and it was driving me nuts! However, I went to my actual computer settings and turned off all the options under 'Snap Windows' but still kept it toggled on (image below). This seemed to work.
