Try these steps in order:
- Check Microsoft Store/payment status
- Go to the Payment options page and confirm the credit card or payment method is valid, not expired, and correctly entered.
- Go to the Services page and make sure there are no overdue subscription payments on the account. Overdue payments can block new purchases.
- Confirm the Microsoft account is not temporarily suspended or locked. If sign-in shows no Next option or indicates the account is locked, follow the unlock instructions in the lock message (the link starting with
aka.ms/) and complete the reinstatement process.
- Check Microsoft Store and device
- If the error appears in the Microsoft Store app on Windows or Xbox, make sure the Store and device are fully updated:
- On Windows: open Microsoft Store → Library → Get updates.
- On Xbox: Settings → System → Updates.
- Ensure antivirus or security software is not blocking payment pop‑ups or confirmation windows.

- Sign in as the parent at
https://account.live.com/mk. - In the list of child accounts, select Manage this child's access to third party apps.
- If needed, select Enable access so the child can use apps and games not published by Microsoft (such as Minecraft Java/Bedrock from third parties or related services).
- Also review Family Safety spending/approval settings to ensure purchases from Microsoft Store are allowed for the child.

- If a charge went through but Minecraft is missing
- If there is an accidental or partial/duplicate purchase, use the refund process described in Returning items you bought from Microsoft for exchange or refund to request a refund and then try the purchase again.
If after checking payment options, overdue subscriptions, account lock status, Store updates, and family settings the purchase still does not complete, use the Microsoft Store support path described in the cancel/refund article to contact Microsoft Store Support with the account and order details so they can review the transaction status.
