Search Terms not working in Microsoft Edge Add-ons Store — extension not appearing in search results

Hi,

I recently published my extension on the Microsoft Edge Add-ons Store, but it does not appear in search results when searching by the registered Search Terms.

Current situation:

  • Extension status: Live
  • Searching by the exact extension name → appears normally
  • Searching by Search Terms (e.g. workspace, productivity, widget) → does not appear at all
  • More than 4 days have passed since publishing

What I have confirmed:

  • No typos in Search Terms
  • Visibility is set to Public
  • Extension is accessible via direct URL
  • Symptoms appear identical to GitHub Issue #301 (Published public extension is not searchable by key words)

Is this a known indexing issue, or is there any action required on my end? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello jihan seo, welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

I'm just checking in—has it appeared in search yet?

Based on the timeline discussion in GitHub #301, it usually takes around 2 weeks for search terms to get indexed after publishing. This seems to be nothing on your end, and it should appear in search results soon. No one reported their extension never showing up so don't worry.
