    Hello Shakara Partinger,

I'd like to help, but Examplify is a third-party application developed by ExamSoft, not a Microsoft product. The error you're seeing is generated by Examplify's own installer, so this falls outside what I can advise on from the Microsoft side. Pointing you toward Windows-level changes that ExamSoft hasn't verified could also risk making things worse on an exam machine.

For this, ExamSoft's official support portal would be the place, as they handle installation issues specific to their software.

Hope that helps point you in the right direction.

To resolve the issue where you see the message "verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services" while installing Examplify, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check User Privileges: Ensure that you are logged in with an account that has administrative privileges. You may need to be a Domain Administrator or Enterprise Administrator.
    2. Local Security Policy: Open the Local Security Policy snap-in by typing secpol.msc in the Run dialog (Win + R). Navigate to Local Policies > User Rights Assignment. Check the Log on as a service policy and ensure that the NT SERVICE\ALL SERVICES group is included. If it is not, you will need to add it.
    3. Run as Administrator: Even if you have tried this, make sure to right-click the installer and select "Run as administrator" to ensure it has the necessary permissions during installation.
    4. Group Policy: If you are in a managed environment (like a corporate network), check with your IT department to ensure that there are no Group Policies in place that restrict service installations.
    5. Elevated Installation: If you are still having issues, consider using the method of advertising the application for installation, which allows non-administrator users to install applications with elevated privileges.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the installation issue with Examplify.
