Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Are you using a personal Microsoft account, or a work or school account?
    2. Did you recently change your phone, reset it, or reinstall the Authenticator app?

If there's no pop-up notification, expand the notification area and check for any from Microsoft Authenticator "New sign-in request for your Microsoft account".

If you don’t receive the notification after clicking "Send notification", you can try troubleshooting the Microsoft Authenticator app using the steps in this guide from Microsoft: "Troubleshoot problems with Microsoft Authenticator" https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/troubleshoot-problems-with-microsoft-authenticator-a3a74493-566b-4c2e-b949-a2789bac0fd3

If the issue persists, please provide more details by answering my questions.

    Regards,

If you're unable to log into your account because the Microsoft Authenticator app is asking for a code, there are a few steps you can take to regain access:

    1. Alternative Sign-In Method: Check if you have any alternative sign-in methods available apart from the Authenticator app. If you do, try using that method to log in.
    2. Reset Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): If you are the sole administrator of your account and cannot access the Authenticator app, you will need to contact Microsoft support for assistance. You can do this by calling the customer service hotline. When you call, follow the prompts to indicate that you are a business email user and need technical support. Make sure to mention that you are the only admin and are locked out of your account.
    3. Create a Trial Tenant: If you cannot reach support, consider creating a trial Microsoft 365 tenant. This will allow you to access the Admin Center and submit a support ticket requesting assistance from the Data Protection team regarding your original account.
    4. Follow Up with Support: Once you have access to the new tenant, navigate to the Admin Center, go to "Help & Support," and submit a ticket detailing your issue. Be sure to include your locked account information and any error messages you are receiving.

These steps should help you regain access to your account. If you need further assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to Microsoft support directly.
