Hello Microsoft Support,

I urgently need help. My Microsoft account with the original ******@gmail.com was hacked on June 1st, 2025. The attacker changed the recovery email to ******@ambideml.ru, which I did not authorize.

I can no longer access my account and I need to recover it as soon as possible.

Additional information:

  • Original email: ******@gmail.com
  • Changed to: ******@ambideml.ru
  • Date of hack: 2/20/2026
  • Location I usually sign in from: [basra, iraq]
  • Minecraft code redeemed on Microsoft Store

I confirm I am the rightful owner of this account. Please guide me through the recovery process.

Best regards,

To recover your Microsoft account after it has been hacked and the recovery email has been changed, follow these steps:

    1. Visit the Microsoft Account Recovery Page: Go to the official Microsoft account recovery page and start the recovery process.
    2. Provide Your Information: Enter your original email address (the one that was hacked) and follow the prompts. You may need to provide additional information to verify your identity.
    3. Use the Account Recovery Form: If you cannot access your account through the standard recovery options, use the Account Recovery Form. Provide as much information as possible, including:
      • Previous passwords you remember.
      • Details about your account activity (e.g., recent emails sent, contacts).
      • Any other information that can help verify your identity.
    4. Contact Microsoft Support: If the automated recovery options do not work, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support directly for assistance. They may have additional tools to help you recover your account.
    5. Secure Your Account: Once you regain access, immediately change your password to a strong, unique one and review your account settings to ensure no unauthorized changes have been made.
    6. Enable Two-Factor Authentication: To enhance security, enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account to prevent future unauthorized access.
    7. Monitor Your Account: Keep an eye on your account for any suspicious activity and inform your contacts about the potential compromise.

Following these steps should help you recover your account and secure it against future attacks.
