Mirror or Flip Camera on Microsoft Edge Browser

I'm on MacBook, but my employer has us using Microsoft Edge.

On Mac, there is no specific setting to flip or mirror a camera. It's program dependent. So for example, if I use Chrome, I flip the camera with an extension. If I use Zoom, I hit the button within Zoom to mirror the camera.

Microsoft Edge is the only program (app) that (apparently) does not have an option to flip or mirror the camera. Unless...I missed it?

I searched Microsoft Edge extensions for "Flip Camera" and "Mirror Camera" and found nothing that would apply to this problem.

How do I flip or mirror the camera within the Microsoft Edge browser? I'm on version: 132.0.2957.127 (Official build) (arm64) and it is up to date.

    There is no direct built-in way to flip or mirror the camera screen (video image) on the Microsoft Edge browser itself. Camera operations are typically managed by the operating system, camera driver, or a specific application (such as a video conferencing tool), rather than being handled directly by the browser.

    However, here are a few ways to mirror or flip the camera screen for when you're using Microsoft Edge on your MacBook.

    In the Microsoft Edge browser on the Mac, you can install Chrome extensions. This is because Microsoft Edge is now based on the Chromium engine and therefore has high compatibility with Google Chrome extensions.

    Here are the steps to install Chrome extensions:

    1. Enable the Chrome Web Store

    1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser.
    2. Click the three-dot menu (More Options) in the upper-right corner.
    3. Select Extensions.
    4. On the Extensions page, find and turn on the “Allow extensions from other stores” switch. This will allow you to install extensions from the Chrome Web Store.

    2. Install the extension

    1. Visit the Chrome Web Store: Chrome Web Store.
    2. Type the name of the extension you want in the search box.
    3. Find the extension you want to install and click the “Add to Chrome” button.
