Managing media playback issues and settings in Microsoft Edge on Android devices
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I am using Microsoft Edge 131.0.2903.112 on Ubuntu 24.10. I want each browser tab to appear as a separate audio stream in pavucontrol, allowing me to manage the output of individual tabs independently.
I have already tried modifying the .desktop file to include the --enable-features=AudioServiceSandbox flag.
None of these attempts provided true per-tab audio stream separation. Currently, all tabs are grouped under a single stream in pavucontrol.

Good day, thanks for your question. Currently, there is no built-in or native feature in Microsoft Edge on Linux to enable per-tab audio stream separation. This feature is not commonly supported across browsers on Linux and therefore it will be best to provide a feedback to the team that is working on Edge from the browser itself and hopefully this will be available in future update release.
