Having an issue with error codes 09 an extra code 0) coming up when trying to update microsoft edge on a semi new inte Mac desktop computer. How to fix. Uninstall an rental do not fix the issue, nor does trying to reinstall Microsoft edge on a different browser

    Hi, I'm Elise, a fellow user like yourself and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

    I see another user had the same issue as you and resolved this by switching off optional diagnostic data in the Edge settings.

    You do this by following these steps:

    Settings and more (…) > Settings > Privacy, search, and services and turning off Help improve Microsoft products by sending optional diagnostic data about how you use the browser, websites you visit, and crash reports
